Canon Demi S and Fujifilm 400 in Miami

My second roll from my recent trip to Miami was shot on Fujifilm 400, which is Fujifilm’s Kodak-manufactured replacement for Superia 400. I think a lot of people are disappointed with this film because it isn’t Superia and because it’s suspiciously similar to Kodak’s Ultramax 400, but I’m loving it! I’ll talk more about what I enjoy about it in a future post but for now I’ll just say that it’s a versatile, affordable, easy-to-find film that I personally think renders colors beautifully. unlike the first couple days of the trip the sun was shining and colors were popping.

This second roll was also shot on my half frame Canon Demi S. Check out my first post about the Canon Demi S to hear me rant and rave about this wonderful little camera! I shot a handful of frames at the resort where we stayed for work and then I took a solo excursion to the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami to shoot some of the murals and street art. Wynwood is an arts district which is famous for its street art, and it didn’t disappoint. Many thanks to my friend Sarah for recommending a visit; I highly recommend checking it out if you have some time to spend while you’re in Miami!
