Canon Demi S and Kodak Portra 400 arount Vermont

Another roll through my Canon Demi S (I have two with working meters now). This one was Kodak Portra 400 shot around Vermont in Summer and Fall of 2025. I’m sorry to say I’m not thrilled with this film so far. I think when I got the exposure right it produced decent results, but even those shots aren’t blowing me away. When under exposed just a little it gets muddy and green very quickly. That can add a lot of vintage charm, but I think I was expecting a bit more out of the legendary Portra! I don’t hate these photos, but I’ll take them as a lesson that I have to really nail exposure AND I have to be more purposeful about how I shoot in order to produce images I’m really proud of. Developing film is too expensive for lackluster shots!
