I enjoy my Canon Demi S so much that I ordered a second one! My plan is to travel with both of them, one with an indoor/nighttime film and the other with a film for shooting during the day. Unfortunately, the light meter doesn’t work on the second Demi S, but I can still use it for Daylight/Sunny 16 shooting and get pretty good exposures. These shots are from my first roll through the camera, which was Kodak Gold 200. Although not every shot was a winner, the camera did a good job and I feel I did a decent job nailing exposures. There were a couple of frames where the sprocket slipped during winding and I got partial double exposures. I’ve included one that looked pretty cool! I’ll probably send the camera to be serviced to see if they can figure out why the sprocket slipped, and maybe I’ll look for one with a working meter to use for parts to restore this one to full working order.
